updates : after three years
Friday, December 21, 2018

Salam alaik.

It has been THREE years since my last update here. I miss writing tho I rarely do postings here.

So catch-up! I'm married now. For 10 months and 3 days. Time flies too fast, ain't they? Married and 5-months pregnant. Yuppp, time sure flies reaaalllyyy fast. 4-months to go before I pop. haha

I just passed my morning sickness phase. It was reaaallyyy hard. Vomiting 4-5 times a day, constant headache, bags of drip, hospitalized twice, medical leave balance now zero out of 21 days. May Allah grant me tons of rewards and give me strength to get thru this. Aminn.

Still working at Sime Darby. Office is now in Ara Damansara. Moved here since August 18 from KL. Took 1 hour plus to get to work because we're stayin in KL. BUT! Tomorrow we are moving to somewhere near here. Only 15-20 mins of driving.

What's more to tell ya? I might revisit this one fine day in future.

Maybe a lil bit bout my husband? He's someone that I would never-ever thought of marrying. HAHA. Knowing him since post high school time with a lil not-so-good reputation. (But hey, he's my Jannah now.) Hooked up only for a few weeks before he propose me in March. I agree, parents agree. Engaged in October before went for Umrah. Got married 3-4 months later in March'18. Easy? Yup, Alhamdulillah Allah ease our journey. Something that I endlessly thanked God for. Now we are expecting our first child together.

That's it for today. Umi abi and le brothers just arrived from hometown to help with house-moving. Since it's Friday, work not so busy (but next week is month-end closing and its quarter, life gonna be hectic). Ciao adios. Barakallahulakum.

So basically I survived 46-days of being a house-helper cum babysitter during my parent's leave for Hajj. Anddddd that period ended exactly one month ago. ONE MONTH do you hear me?

I started my job hunting two weeks before they're coming back. Until now, I am still unemployed. Heh. Peganggur tegar kata kau. But, who cares? I do. *cry a bucket*

These phases really teach me the meaning of being patient. I'd love it when every single person around me calm me down saying that my time (to be employed) will come soon.

emm still waiting.

The 46-days job
Sunday, August 23, 2015

Salam alaik

It has been a week since my temporary job started. The 46-days journey which I pray to God so that He gives me strength to endure this. Well, I have to admit that this is ain't easy even thought they are my lil brothers. Up to this point I realize, I don't have the nagging talent like my mom does (which is an advantage for them). Being a stay-home helper make me want to think again and again the idea of being a housewife.

I don't really like to stay at home because less time to socialize which also means to talk/discuss issues with other people. I need to see the 'world' other than the shopping list and supermarket and other routine's places. It's kinda boring to repeat the same thing everyday- it's not much of challenge except to deal with the kids. Too much ey from the dark side? Bright side? At least if I have kids (May Allah grant my wish), I can keep an eye on them every second.

Too much thinking of the future, I think. It's not that I have too many leisure time, but I have to decide of what to do later on. I always said to myself, DO THINGS THAT MAKE YOU HAPPY. But, with current economic condition I don't know anymore.

And hey, I have some goals to share with. More like family goals? (1) One day, when me or my other half come home from work, I would love to see the kids running toward us. (2) Every evening would be our family time where we would pray together, recite Quran together and talk about anything. (3) My family is my best-friends.

Too ambitious? I don't think so. Nothing is impossible right? If others can do this, why can't I?

Till then,
AM.

Are you happy?
Wednesday, May 13, 2015

"Are you happy?"
It's a question that I frequently ask myself and people around me.
What makes you happy? Keep it.
What makes you unhappy? Deal with it.

Communication is the key, dear.

Everyone deserves happiness and the best people in their life.
Work on it to keep those people, YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE (:

{In the progress on saying "I love you" to the people I love and care about}

Till then, Wassalam.
